The Dhruti Team conducted a Mental Health Awareness Workshop at Hindustan College of Arts and science, attended by over 300 students from various departments and years of study. The session aimed to empower students with knowledge and practical strategies to prioritize their mental well-being. The workshop was led by Ms. Srishakthi V, Counselling Psychologist, and Ms. Jaya, Program Coordinator, along with the Dhruti Team. Together, they guided the students through engaging discussions, interactive activities, and practical exercises designed to build resilience, self-awareness, and effective coping strategies.
Workshop Highlights:
- Resilience: Techniques to strengthen emotional and mental endurance.
- Self-Awareness: Understanding personal emotions and responses.
- Coping Tools & Self-Care Strategies: Practical methods to manage stress and maintain well-being.
- Common Student Challenges: Exploring issues faced in academics, peer relationships, and personal life.
Students found the workshop highly engaging and insightful, expressing that they gained confidence in managing stress, emotions, and personal challenges. The session also provided a safe and supportive environment, encouraging reflection, open discussion, and self-growth.
