Holistic Community Well-being Initiative at St. Antony's Higher Secondary School
Dhruti Charitable Trust, through its Holistic Community Well-being Programme, equips students with the confidence, resilience and life skills needed to navigate life’s challenges and contribute positively to society. Dhruti team is excited about this first step to reach the community the next step would involve engaging with the parents of these students.
Community development doesn’t begin with buildings—it begins with people. Dhruti Charitable Trust partnered with the TANSI Nagar Welfare Association to conduct a localized Holistic Community Well-being Initiative for the students of St. Antony’s Higher Secondary School in Velachery. The session focused on expanding mental wellness beyond academic walls to build a sustainable, resilient ecosystem for youth.
Key Focus:
Emotional Resilience: Equipping students with the inner strength to handle personal and academic pressures.
Stress Management: Introducing day-to-day coping mechanisms to reduce anxiety and prevent burnout.
Self-Awareness: Guiding young minds to understand their emotional triggers and unlock their potential.
Essential Life Skills: Providing foundational tools to help teenagers confidently contribute to society.
By nurturing emotionally healthy youth today, we are building stronger families, healthier schools, and more resilient communities for tomorrow. Recognizing that true community transformation requires a full support loop, the next phase of this initiative will involve deeply engaging with the parents of these students to reinforce wellness strategies at home.
