Mental Wellness Workshop at HCAS
At Dhruti Trust, we believe that promoting mental health awareness among students is essential for building resilient, confident, and emotionally healthy communities. Continuing this mission, we successfully conducted a Mental Well-Being Workshop for first-year students at Hindustan College of Arts and Science (HCAS), Chennai.
The workshop focused on mental health awareness, stress management, self-care, emotional resilience, and coping strategies for academic and personal challenges. Students actively participated in discussions and the interactive Q&A session, with most describing the workshop as “Very Engaging.”
Participants shared that they gained a better understanding of mental well-being, managing stress and anxiety, handling academic pressure, and building confidence. Many also expressed interest in receiving regular mental wellness tips, attending advanced workshops, accessing counselling support, and joining the Dhruti PEERS Support Group.
Overall, the workshop successfully encouraged students to prioritise their mental health and adopt positive coping practices, reinforcing Dhruti Trust’s commitment to promoting mental wellness in educational institutions.
